Today felt like the first real page of this adventure: I spent hours tinkering with new cookie recipes, scribbling notes on browned-butter timing, chill times, and just how much sea salt makes white chocolate sing. I’m embracing the “learn in public” mindset with marketing and social media—even though it hasn’t been my strongest skill in the past. I’m experimenting with behind-the-scenes clips, short reels of dough scoops and oven doors opening, and honest captions about what works (and what absolutely flops). I’m also putting the word out that I’m looking for a co-founder—someone who loves community, is excited to build a brand from the ground up, and believes heart matters more than polish. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys testing, iterating, and celebrating small wins with a cookie in hand, you’ll fit right in.
On the tech side, I dove into my website today and remembered how much I love creating graphics—almost as much as I love baking. Adobe Illustrator was my playground: color palettes inspired by toasted edges, little cookie icons, and mockups for labels and packaging. It’s a lot—recipes to refine, posts to plan, pages to polish—but it feels good to build something tangible and delicious, one pixel and one batch at a time. I’m excited, a little nervous, and very committed to showing up consistently, learning faster than I fail, and welcoming collaborators who want to grow with me. Here is to a new venture!
